MOUNTAIN TRIKE The guys at Mountain Trike have set the price of a trike to prevent distributors from adding big mark ups. This makes a Trike as affordable to you in New Zealand as anywhere in the world. They also want to be able to have personal contact with you and keep you up to date with the progress of your Trike build. My job is to make your Trike purchase as easy as possible and provide you with back up and service in New Zealand. Because the price is fixed an exact quote depends to some extent on the current exchange rate (which is favourable to you at the moment). A good guide to the price of a Trike in NZ dollars and including shipping, GST and taxes is $10500=$11000. BOMA 7 For a Boma 7, in one of the standard colour options and in standard configuration the New Zealand price including shipping, GST and Taxes will be $25000-$27000. An exact quote depends on the exchange rate and what discount I can negotiate with shipping companies etc. Any savings I get I pass on to you as the customer. I will endeavour to provide you with the best priced most capable off road power chair available anywhere in the world. Options such as trailers, batteries, joystick control, lighting kits and specialised seating will be quoted as required and if purchased at the same time as the chair will be quoted at a special price. ACC CUSTOMERS If your injury is covered by ACC you may be able to get a Mountain Trike or Boma 7 provided by them. This will depend on your needs and each claim will be considered on it’s own merits. You could talk to your case manager to start the process of requesting an off road chair.
